Emily Mohan

Gallery Manager

Emily brings a deep appreciation for art history, research, writing, and accessibility in the arts to her role at Gallery 19C. She earned her B.A. in Art History from the University of Oregon, where her studies centered on visual analysis, art historical writing, curatorial research, and museology. She was the recipient of the Marian Donnelly Book Award, recognizing excellence in art historical scholarship, and was invited to represent the University of Oregon at the SUNY New Paltz Art History Symposium.

Her academic work also took her to London, where she conducted research across major cultural institutions, including the National Gallery, Tate Britain, and the Victoria and Albert Museum. As a Westlake resident, Emily is excited to be part of the local community and to help create a welcoming gallery environment. At Gallery 19C, she supports daily operations, client and community relations, publicity and programming, inventory coordination, exhibition support, and written materials that make 19th-century art engaging, accessible, and meaningful.
